Find your way around Vocals

Beginner3 min7 steps

Vocals is two things in one: an app where a sentence becomes a finished song, and a full studio where every note of it is yours to change. Here is where everything lives.

Step 1 of 7
  1. On a computer, Home opens on today’s idea, ideas you can make in one tap and the collections, then songs and hooks to swipe through. On a phone the same tab is called Hooks.

  2. Explore has the search, the shelves (Staff picks, Trending, New, Songs to remix) and the royalty-free music library.

  3. Create is where songs are made. Describe the song, pick a few options if you like, and press Create.

  4. Library holds your songs, the songs you liked, your playlists, albums, hooks, lyrics and vocals.

  5. Profile is your public page: your picture, bio and links, your published songs and your followers. Your plan and settings are behind the gear.

  6. On a computer, Studio opens the full studio on one of your songs, or an empty one. Every track, note and sound can be changed.

  7. The book next to the Vocals name brings you back here. On a phone it sits at the top of your profile.

Pro tips

  • A song you make is private until you publish it: only you can hear it.
  • Every song has a menu (the •••): it is where you publish, remix, download or open it in the studio.

Your turn

Open Vocals and do it for real: it takes a minute.
