Make your first song in one sentence

Beginner4 min6 steps

Your first song takes one sentence. Vocals reads the idea, writes the words, makes the music and paints a cover, and the song lands in your library.

Step 1 of 6
  1. In Describe your song, say what you hear: a style, a mood, what it is about. “A warm acoustic pop song about the first day of summer” is plenty.

  2. Tap the sound tags under the box (dreamy, acoustic guitar, big drums…) to add them to your description. Other suggestions brings new ones.

  3. Choose With lyrics and Vocals writes words that fit, or Instrumental for music only. You can also write your own words (next lessons).

  4. One button. On a phone it stays pinned at the bottom of the page while you scroll.

  5. The steps show what is happening: reading your idea, writing the words, making the music. A full AI song takes a few minutes: look around meanwhile, a banner tells you when it is ready.

  6. Your song plays as soon as it is ready, with its cover. Studio opens it in the studio, Make another starts again, and it is already in your library.

Pro tips

  • The more precise the sentence, the closer the song: genre, mood, two or three instruments and what it is about.
  • If a description gets turned down by the AI’s content rules, say it another way: the mood, the instruments, where it plays. It doesn’t count toward your songs.
  • Vocals doesn’t copy real artists. Describe the style instead (“90s hip hop”, “breathy indie vocals”).
