Work with the AI Producer
The Producer is an AI that works in your session: ask for a part, a sound or a mix change in plain words, and it does it on your tracks, where you can see and change everything.
The studio needs a computer or an iPad. On a phone, Vocals is the app without the studio.

Click Producer in the top bar, or press ⌘J.

“Add a string pad in the chorus”, “make the drums punchier”, “fade out the ending”.

The change lands on your tracks: a new track, new notes, a new sound. Play it to hear it.

Not what you wanted? ⌘Z undoes the Producer’s change like any other.

Easier to sing than to say? Hum a rhythm or a tune into the Producer and it uses it.
Pro tips
- One request at a time works best: you hear what each change did.
- Say where: “in the second chorus”, “on the bass”, “from bar 17”.
