Post a hook
A hook is a short video with a song playing under it, the catchiest part. It is how songs travel on Vocals: people swipe through hooks, and tap through to the song.

At the top right of Hooks, tap + Hook. Watching a song you like? It offers that song first.

Pick from Recents (your songs), Public (the ones you published) or Liked.

Bring a video From your device (2 to 60 seconds), or Make it with AI from your directions.

Film it opens the camera with the song playing: pick a filter and a length, then hold to film. Turn on Sing to record your voice too.

Slide to the part of the song that should play under the video: the chorus, usually.

Add a caption, choose Show lyrics and Allow comments, then Post. Posting makes your song public.
Pro tips
- The first second decides whether people stay: start on movement, start on the hook.
- Download on the last step saves your hook as an MP4, to post it elsewhere too.
- Only post videos you have the right to share.
