Turn a photo or a video into a song
A photo of a sunset, a clip of your holiday, your dog asleep: Vocals looks at it, hears the song it suggests, and makes it. A video gets its soundtrack, cut to its length.

In Create, tap Photo or video (on a phone, the big + Photo or video button at the top) and pick one from your device.

While it says Looking at it…, Vocals reads the picture: the place, the light, the mood.

The description is optional now, but a word or two (“a lullaby”, “make it upbeat”) steers it.

A video plays with its new soundtrack, the song cut to the video’s length with a short fade.

Save the song as an MP3, or the video with the song as its sound as a Video (MP4), ready to post.
Pro tips
- Its first minute is kept as a private clip under the song in My songs: Post as hook puts it in Hooks whenever you like.
- Videos up to 10 minutes long work; short ones are best for social posts.
- A song made from a photo uses that photo as its cover.
