Remix and reuse any song
Heard a song you love? Remix makes a new version with your changes: another genre, other words, a different length. The original stays as it is, and the remix is yours.
-
From a song’s menu, the player or the button on a hook, tap Remix.
-
Tap a style chip to move the song into another genre.
-
In Describe genre and lyric changes…, write what you want: “slower, with a female vocal”, “make the chorus about summer”.
-
Under Advanced: change the words as you say, keep them, or make it instrumental; keep the length or pick another; or Copy it as it is to work on the original in the studio.
-
Press Make the remix. It lands on Create like any new song, named “(remix)” and saying where it came from.
-
For your own songs, Make another version asks for a new take with your changes, or starts again from its idea in Create.
Pro tips
- Explore has a shelf of Songs to remix.
